Enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of first-time parenthood. Progress on the organic vegetable garden and other ramblings of a gaijin in Japan's least populous prefecture.

Elsewhere in the news today people are up against 200 monkeys.
There's still a few expats here that have been here about the same amount of time. Up and around <strike>Daisen</strike> anywhere would be nice around that time of year.
I would miss the garden even if I got a bigger one.

About 5 years ago, they spotted a school of 200(!) hammermeads off Tottori city.

Really enjoying the blog, I lived in Yonago from 1994-2006, hence the name of my blog. Really miss it sometimes, especially my own garden. May come up for a day or two this fall, hisashiburi ni.

It was 35°C at two o'clock. Watched some of the runners come in and think admiration is an understatement.
