Labour Thanksgiving Day

Yesterday was Labour Thanksgiving Day. The get together however was for the grandparents as they both turned 88 this year. The grandfather is the spitting image of an ageless Sven-Goran Eriksson. His every second breath is finished with a long um, not unlike the sound one makes when appreciating a fine wine or cognac.
After everybody and ate and drunk their fill, they settled or slept in front of a television program featuring a Brazilian soothsayer. As it moved from cholera epidemics, giant tsunamis to massive earthquakes, the house was shaken by a 3 JMA SI tremor. Both the father-in-law and his father had comically adopted the same position and pose in their facing chairs by the window; a raised elbow with the hand placed on the forehead.
