What seems most popular here are sponge cakes covered in a lot of cream with strawberries. I think the only difference here is the addition of Santa Claus, the chocolate sign etc. The cake is two layers of light sponge, sandwiching more cream. It tasted fine if a little sweet and not what I would call a Christmas cake. I’m sorry it was bought from a shop.
