FRIEND. Eats aphids. Ladybirds here seem to be the opposite to what I’m familar with.

FOE. Perhaps these eat smaller bugs, but I’m sure Mantids (Mantises) eat leaves too.

FOE. Crushed eggshell around the perimeter and individual plants. Beer traps work very well as do bricks, feet etc.

FRIEND. Spiders eat lots of baddies. Wouldn’t want this one to get too friendly.

IMPARTIAL. I’m sure these don’t do any harm. Initally alarmed as the seem to have destroyed a couple of herbs.

Expect the plant to have already died and they just ate the dead parts. Numbers seemed to swell mid summer.
