I didn’t actively grow it, instead it kind of invited itself.

Still getting flowers in November, the flowering season being mid summer. I got best results by mixing the Chamomile seeds in a little light soil first. Chamomile mainly used as a tea.

Garlic

I decided to plant garlic in two rows across the width of the plot. Firstly, a row 45 cm wide was prepared.
Individual garlic cloves were then planted at a depth of 5 cm. These were spaced 15 cm apart, at intervals of 10 cm.
At present, 35 of the 36 cloves have sprouted and all four of the Aomori variety. These were planted at the end of Setember.
At the back of the shot standard head of garlic, against the Aomori that I had just dug up.

Growing Italian flat leaf parsely, probably going to try my topiary skills on this.

Pleased this is doing well. Rosemary particularly popular in Italian cookery. Nice just to chuck a few sprigs of Rosemany on the barbecue.

Savory

Thought I’d grow some for the winter, to add to stews. Savory adds a nice flavour, picked up well by beans.

Transplanted a couple of plants that were growing wild in the garden. Shiso comes in red or green.
